Hi, I'm Sally.
 
Like most women, I've struggled with self love for a long time. Ever since I was 16, I've worried about my appearance and what other people think of me. It's exhausting!

 

If you're like me, it's SO much easier to be patient with other people, compliment other people, and give to other people, than to give to myself.
 
About 5 years ago, after the birth of my first son, I had enough. I was so sleep deprived and so disconnected from myself.
 
That's when I discovered somatic meditation. I had already been meditating for over 15 years, but it was nothing like this.
 
Somatic meditation nourished me on such a deep level that I've devoted my entire career to sharing this powerful practice with others. 
 
If you often feel anxious and worried, I think you'll love this course, and be blown away with how 20 minutes a day of somatic meditation changes everything.

I’ll help you go from wanting a regular home practice to having a regular home practice, and I’ll do it by inspiring and educating you all along the way.

Here’s what's included:

Learn how to take refuge in your body rather than fight against it. You'll experience the deep rest and relaxation that comes from long-held yin yoga postures and guided somatic meditation. We meet the following Sundays from 11am - 12:15pm ET.

My gentle, compassionate approach to meditation will show you that there's nothing wrong with you and that you are not broken. Year after year, my students learn how NORMAL it is to experience self-doubt and self-loathing. Ugh. It's a hard truth - but our society has raised a bunch of insecure women. This course helps to change that - for good.

FAQ's 

 

What if I can’t attend live?

Each class is recorded, so it’s never a problem if you have to miss class. You can always watch the recordings at your convenience.

Do I have to have experience with meditation prior to registering for this course?

Not at all. There are no expectations around how much you've meditated in the past. The most helpful thing you could bring into this course is an open mind and a willingness to be gentle and patient with yourself.

Do I have to have experience with yoga prior to registering for this course?

It's not required, but I think you'll enjoy my teaching more if you've done yoga for at least 2 years. It's 100% ok if you haven't been consistent with your practice lately. Feel free to email me if you want to talk more about your unique situation. 

Is this course only for women?

Yes. As a female meditation practitioner I have found that being surrounded by other women is extremely powerful. There is so much patriarchy in the meditation world. As a result, I feel that women need a safe space where their unique experiences can be held sacred. I am passionate about providing a women-only space, and think you will find an almost unbelievable sense of comfort and safety knowing that all your classmates are women. 

Do you offer a BIPOC discount?

Yes. I am disheartened by the lack of racial diversity in most meditation circles. If you are Black, Biracial, Indian, Latina, Asian, Native American, or African, or have been discriminated against in your life because of the color of your skin, I offer a 50% tuition reduction, and you can use the code REPARATIONS at checkout to automatically get your discount. For the white women who are reading this - if it disturbs you that you are asked to pay full tuition, and others are not, I ask you to please read more about the history of White Supremacy in our country and consider enrolling in another course. I feel that social justice is as important to our full embodied mindfulness as anything else. When will I get access to the class portal?

The class portal opens on February 20th. That means you'll have a full 2 weeks to do the pre-work and get familiar with logging in and completing your assignments, prior to the start of the course on March 6th.

How will I login to the class portal?

At the top of the page here, you'll see a button called LOGIN. Once you register for the course, you'll create a unique username and password - and then use that to login - all from the comfort of my website. No other links or passwords required. 

How long will I have access to the course materials for?

You'll have access to all the course materials, including all the videos and guided meditation recordings, for life. You can go back to them long after the course ends and listen or watch as often as you'd like.

Do you offer refunds?

Because this course is open to a limited number of students, once you join there are no refunds. If you are part of the payment plan, you’re expected to pay in full even if you stop mid-way through the course.

What if I have other questions?
