Learn how to listen to your body, befriend your emotions, and touch the indestructible calm that is always at the core of your being.

Here’s what's included in the

Somatic Meditation Immersion:

Experience the deep rest and relaxation that comes from long-held yin yoga postures and guided somatic meditation. Classes are from 10am - 11am ET on every Saturday morning between Sept 17 and Dec 17.

We'll do a 5 minute opening meditation, a 35 minute yin yoga practice, and a longer 20 minute guided meditation at the end.

Every class is recorded and uploaded into the online class portal, so if you miss a class you can always go back and watch anytime!

You also have access to ALL the content for life.

I'll support you in creating time and space for yourself, cultivating a daily home practice, working with resistance and difficult emotions as they come up, and so much more.

These Wednesday videos help remind you to practice mid-week!

To help with your more personal questions and unique struggles to maintain a regular home practice, you can book a 1 hour private session with me anytime during the course! This is included in the price and offers a great compliment to the group classes.

Sally's yin yoga and somatic meditation are essential and invaluable to a fully-lived, fully-felt, fully-embodied, fully-vulnerable, compassionate, humble, fierce, and present life. - H.M.

Here's what I think you'll love:

  • Our classes are a mixture of movement and stillness

Most people find that sitting down "cold" to meditate is extremely uncomfortable and rarely works. We'll ease our way into meditation using yin yoga and myofascial release FIRST. This makes meditation SO much more approachable and SO much more comfortable. It really is a delightful way to practice.

  • You’ll be part of a global community of meditators

Committing to a regular meditation practice can sometimes feel like a lonely road - especially if you're trying to break generations of self-hatred and self-criticism that you learned from the people in your family. It's much more fun doing it with other people who are working toward a similar goal. You are not alone and this course will help to constantly remind you of that!

  • You’ll discover how time in stillness can be surprisingly energizing

Gone are the days of thinking that to feel better you have to do something you hate. If you grew up thinking that you have to push or punish your body in order to stay “fit” or be lovable or be calm - I have a whole new world view that is about to blow your mind. I’ll show you a way of gently, mindfully taking care of yourself that feels amazing and gives you more energy than you’ve ever dreamed possible.

  • You’ll make peace with the parts of you that you think are too sensitive, too damaged, too emotional, or simply unlovable.

My gentle, compassionate approach to meditation will show you that there's nothing wrong with you and that you are not broken. Year after year, my students learn how NORMAL it is to experience resistance to meditation. I'll teach you how to cut through all the "should's" - about yourself AND about your meditation practice - and break through to a deep, embodied experience of self-love.

  • You'll have time to digest and integrate what you learn into your daily life

The length of this program lets you digest what you learn over time, ask all the questions you want!, and embody the teachings in a way that will stay with you forever.

FAQ's

Does the immersion count towards continuing education for Yoga Alliance and if does, how many hours?

YES. The immersion does count toward continuing education for Yoga Alliance.

You’ll get a certificate of completion for 50 CE hours.

The 50 CE hours breaks down into 14 contact hours and 36 non-contact hours, which will be noted on your certificate.

That means that the immersion will have you covered for your CE requirements for the next 3 years.

Here’s the language from Yoga Alliance...

"Every three years, Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT®s) must complete 30 hours of Continuing Education training, 10 of which need to be Contact Hours in the presence of a qualified CE provider. Online trainings can count toward the Continuing Education (CE) contact hours requirement."

What if I can’t attend live?

Each class is recorded, so it’s never a problem if you have to miss class. You can always watch the recordings at your convenience, and the recordings never expire. You have access to all the content for life!

Do I have to have experience with meditation prior to registering for this course?

Not at all. There are no expectations around how much you've meditated in the past. The most helpful thing you could bring into this course is an open mind and a willingness to be gentle and patient with yourself.

Do I have to have experience with yoga prior to registering for this course?

It's not required, but I think you'll enjoy my teaching more if you've done yoga for at least 2 years. It's 100% ok if you haven't been consistent with your practice lately. Feel free to email me if you want to talk more about your unique situation.

Do you offer a BIPOC discount?

Yes. I am disheartened by the lack of racial diversity in most meditation circles. If you are Black, Biracial, Indian, Latina, Asian, Native American, or African, or have been discriminated against in your life because of the color of your skin, I offer a 50% tuition reduction, and you can use the code REPARATIONS at checkout to automatically get your discount. For the white women who are reading this - if it disturbs you that you are asked to pay full tuition, and others are not, I ask you to please read more about the history of White Supremacy in our country and consider enrolling in another course. I feel that social justice is as important to our full embodied mindfulness as anything else. I would not be here if it weren’t for the racial privilege of my parents, and I want to do whatever I can to include more of our Black and Brown sisters in this deeply transformative and empowering work.  At checkout, just enter the discount code: REPARATIONS

When will I get access to the class portal?

The class portal opens on September 14th. That means you'll have 3 days to get familiar with logging in prior to the start of the course on September 17th. The ZOOM link for our classes is right there in the class portal.

How will I login to the class portal?

At the top of the page here, you'll see a button called LOGIN. Once you register for the course, you'll create a unique username and password - and then use that to login - all from the comfort of my website. No other links or passwords required.

How long will I have access to the course materials for?

You'll have access to all the course materials, including all the videos and guided meditation recordings, for life. You can go back to them long after the course ends and listen or watch as often as you'd like.

Do you offer refunds?

Because this course is open to a limited number of students, once you join there are no refunds. If you are part of the payment plan, you’re expected to pay in full even if you stop mid-way through the course.

What if I have other questions?

If you have other questions about the course please don’t hesitate to reach out via email on the contact page. My response time is sometimes within minutes, and other times can take up to 48 hours. I really look forward to hearing from you.
