Sally Miller’s online yin yoga membership is a great investment. Once a week, I get Sally’s expert guidance – live, no less - while I practice in the comfort of my home. Not only that, but I also have access to her video library, letting me schedule yin yoga when it’s convenient for me. Despite my busy schedule, I finally have a consistent home practice!
- Karen Rankin-Baransky, Biologist/Creative Writer, Milford, NJ
Your membership gets you access to live online yin yoga classes with me every Wednesday night from 7-8:00pm Eastern Time, and recordings of all previous classes.
If you need help decompressing from work, or an excuse to take some time away from your family, this membership is for you!
A regular yin yoga practice at home can help relieve all kinds of aches and pains. My students have reported a disappearance of knee pain, lower back pain, and neck pain. And many, many students are now more comfortable in their body than they have ever been in their whole life.
Sally’s gentle cueing invites me into a state of deeper sensing and untangling of my inner terrain. Each class unfolds an adroit Sally blend of meridian and organ system reference points, which enhance the learning experience and yin voyage.
-Nancy Nel Norwesh, Yoga Practitioner since 1976
Here’s what you’ll experience each week:
A 5-minute opening meditation to help you land in your body and drop your thoughts
An intelligent full body sequence of yin yoga postures to stretch, relax, and release tension
A guided final relaxation to integrate mind, body, and spirit
I’ve designed my online, live-streaming yin yoga classes for people like you who yearn to have a more regular yin yoga practice and crave being connected to a larger web of like-minded individuals.
If you miss a class, or know that Wednesday nights just don’t work for you, you can always watch later - at any time.
I really enjoy the online classes, and the fact that I can go back and do classes I missed or repeat ones that I liked. I can't say enough good things about the class she did for the knees. For me, the areas we stretched during that class didn't seem to be related to the knees, but after the class, the pain in my knees was gone, at least temporarily. For the next couple of days, no knee pain when walking up stairs, playing a couple hours of Pickleball, or during strength training. That class is now part of my regular training.
- Craig Martin, Chalfont PA
Your membership comes with access to my password-protected online library of over 25 hour-long yin yoga classes. You get instant access to this when you sign up!
The topics we explore in yin yoga (like embodiment, surrender, feeling what we feel and letting go) are so counterculture to our modern world that without a regular practice we are likely to just “go with the flow.”
Instead of listening to our deep longing for stillness, we fill up our time scrolling on Instagram, obsessively cleaning our homes, shopping for that perfect outfit, or distracting ourselves with work so that we don’t have to feel what it’s really like to be human.
My goal is to create a virtual sanctuary where everyone who’s ready to do this work feels held in the arms of the great Mother of Compassion (click here to read more about Kuan Yin). I see my mission as being Her messenger.
Sally’s wise and inspired teaching reveals directly that cultivating stillness is the heart of life’s richest possible aims: self-acceptance, creativity and persistence in one’s work, and love. Every class with Sally brings me back to all three.
- Holly Haynes, Professor, Dept of Philosophy, Religion and Classical Studies at The College of New Jersey, NJ
I aim to help keep you inspired and motivated so you can reap the immense benefits of a healthier relationship with your body. I know deep down in my bones that a regular yin yoga practice changes lives. Here’s what I’ve seen gets better with yin yoga… not just in my life, but in the lives of countless students over the past 12 years.
Greater flexibility of the muscles
More space in the joints
Improved range of motion
Increased immunity
Better digestion
Meditation gets easier
Stress levels go down
Contentment goes up
We feel connected to our inner teacher & trust ourselves more
We learn how to slow down and appreciate the small stuff
We feel more accepting of other people
We aren’t as scared of death
Yin yoga helps you become more flexible, relaxed, and confident in your own skin.
Instead of running from your pain, stuffing your emotions or labelling yourself as fundamentally flawed, you’ll learn how to breathe into your body and what’s really there for you … with honesty and a gentle curiosity. You’ll discover nothing less than your Bright, Indestructible, and Infinite Buddha Nature.
I just wanted to let you know how much I get out of your yin classes. It's such a good practice for me as I have a tendency towards a very active mind. These classes are an important part of my self-care. Yin really gets me back to my body. After tonight's class, I was so deeply relaxed I couldn't even speak. I just wanted to tell you how grateful I am for you and your teaching.
- Liz Quinlisk, Physical Therapist, Chalfont, PA
If that sounds like something you want, I’d love for you to join me.
Most people benefit from yin yoga. These classes are for you if you…
Are a busy parent who puts all your energy into your kids and feel like you’re running off fumes.
Work at a desk all day and your body aches when you get home.
Feel critical of the people you love, and lonely because you don’t know how to connect.
Want to meditate, but your body hurts and your physical discomfort gets in the way of your practice.
Get angry and annoyed but don’t know how to process your feelings.
Are a deep thinker who wants a more meaningful, fulfilled and embodied life.
Are insecure about being different, sensitive, or “emotional” in a seemingly cruel and hardened world.
Are going through a loss, life transition, health crisis, or depression.
The best thing about these classes is that you can stream them live from your favorite room in your house.
Afraid that you’ll look silly on camera? Don’t worry—no one cares(!), but you can also just join without video. You can wear your pajamas to class, take out your contacts, and get cozy wherever you like to practice at home.
And if you’re worried about figuring out the technology, I promise you that I’ll answer your all your questions and be incredibly patient, understanding and willing to guide you through each step of the process. It’s super easy to log on. After you do it once, you’ll feel like a pro!
“Sally guides the group rather than instructs. There is less of a division between her and students; like we are on a trail walking together with Sally in front leading. She maintains the stillness through out and at the same time, she is a student, humble to the practice by being able to laugh at herself … she pulls it off seamlessly.” - Michele V, Allentown PA

Here are your next steps:
Step 1: Sign up here. It’s just $49/month.
Step 2: You’ll receive a link to the class in your inbox (please check your spam or junk folder if you do not see the email in your inbox). I use a live video software called Zoom, which you can learn more about below. You will need the following props for class: two blocks, one blanket, and a tennis ball. There may be some days where we will use a peanut (two tennis balls inside of a sock), a bolster, or extra blankets. Please don’t stress about props. You can always substitute books or pillows.
Step 3: Click the link at the start of class to get instant access to the live stream
I have taken Sally's yin classes for years. They calm me, center me, and have deep physical benefits that need to be experienced. Sally is an amazing teacher: patient, thoughtful, kind, clear instructions, well organized and fun. What I like most is I can take them live or access the recordings anytime I like.
- Julie Keys, Ottsville, PA
How does it work?
Once you register for the membership, you’ll receive an email with a link to join the live class on Wednesday night, as well as the password you need to log in to the “MEMBERS LOGIN” - which is just at the top of this website, in the navigation bar.
ZOOM is a free application that can be downloaded onto your Mac or PC, laptop, tablet, phone, or any smart device with a strong internet or cellular connection.
Then, on Wednesday between 6:45- 7pm ET you can click on the link to join the LIVE class and you’ll see me!
You are encouraged to download the ZOOM app ahead of time to familiarize yourself with it and make sure it’s working for you prior to Wednesday night.
From 7-8pm EST, I will guide you through an opening meditation and approximately 5 yin yoga postures, followed by shavasana. All the student’s microphones will be muted to minimize background noise.
At 8pm EST, you can either just log off or stick around and ask me questions. You can ask a question about your practice, your body, a posture, or a more general question about your yin yoga or meditation practice.
It will not disturb the group if you come late to class or have to leave early. Please feel free to make the practice and the timing work for you.
If you have any questions about using zoom or how the class works, please email sally@sallymilleryoga.com.
Are these classes beginner or advanced?
The online classes are “beginner” in a certain sense because I will always give you everything you need in terms of explaining terms, giving detailed alignment cues, variations for levels of flexibility, what to do if you have pain, discomfort, etc.
You definitely don’t have to be young, skinny, female, flexible, calm, buddhist, spiritual, or know anything about yoga terminology to take these classes.
The online classes are “advanced” only in the sense that you have to decide for yourself, without a teacher observing you or giving you immediate visual feedback, if a posture is safe for you to stay with or not. We will have plenty of time in the Q&A section each week if you’d like to ask questions about certain sensations that came up, or whether to do certain poses because of particular injuries. Just keep in mind that you will have to listen to your body, and most likely everyone at some point will need to come out of a pose sooner than the rest of the class. It’s just the nature of the beast. With yin yoga, as in all yogas, your body and your heart are the ultimate teacher.
What does it feel like?
Taking a live, online yin yoga class with me is a very unique experience. It’s nothing like watching a pre-recorded online class or youtube video. There’s a palpable feeling of presence and aliveness that seems to come through when a group of us get together.
As soon as you “log on” and join the meeting, you can say a quick hello and then lay down, sit up, or get comfortable and close your eyes. You don’t need to see the screen while you’re waiting for class to start, and may even choose to look at the screen very minimally for the remaining class time.
It feels very similar to entering a meditation hall.
You know you’re there to go within. And all the other students know they’re there to go within, too.
I am just the guide. I will hold the space and speaks from my body. There’s a pulse that arises when we come together to practice online, and everyone’s embodied mindfulness contributes to this pulse.
We are not there to chit chat or catch up on life. We are there to make sacred the gathering of a sangha, or group of co-practitioners. We are there to support each other and do the work of dropping the thoughts and feeling what we feel.
We slowly move our bodies from shape to shape, holding each posture somewhere between 2 and 5 minutes. We pause between each posture. And you are always welcome to skip or modify anything you like.
The container of the online class helps us focus on our bodies, and put our to-do list, our cleaning, our work, etc on the back burner.
It feels like you enter into a precious 60-minute vortex where you are not alone in your deep longing for a more balanced, calm, and genuinely happy life.
