Yin Yoga helps us learn how to slow down and relax in a very deep way. Using longer-held, passive postures that target the fascia instead of the muscles, we’ll explore stillness, stretching, and physical wellbeing from a while new perspective.
Yin Yoga gives us space to "feel what we feel” and heal parts of the body, mind, and emotions that are craving for our attention, but just don’t have space in our daily life to be felt. We’ll learn how to care for the body without fixing, analyzing, or judging. And most importantly, we’ll discover how vulnerability is a strength rather than a weakness.
You'll also learn how to trace the 5 yin organ meridians (kidneys, liver, spleen, heart, and lungs) in your own body. These pathways of prana, according to Traditional Chinese Medicine, can get clogged from all kinds of things, including stress, processed food, lack of sleep, anxiety, and environmental pollution.
Registration includes a free download of Sally’s guided meditation CD called “Mapping the Meridians,” so that you can continue to clear your meridians and learn about them more at home.
Open to All Levels.
